here’s a variation, making the bubbles a little more visible and adding some more color. this felt sort of vacant and i think the speech bubbles were the problem. do i need both pages to start at the hangline? or is that just the limit to where the text can fall?
fixed up the first department. hopefully it’s more clear where the articles both start and this is their two point of views. i also switched the graphics, because it makes more sense to have the incomplete one on the left. does this look better? i think the other thing i have to consider is the feel of the cover versus the feel of the pages… so i really do need a lot of help getting everything together for next week. please. thanks.
i feel waaaaay behind on a lot of stuff - today i should be able to catch up on 90% of the stuff i haven’t been able to put the finishing touches on. here’s the updated department #1, now a spread.
first department spread. very, very rough, didn’t have a whole lot of time to commit to this project this week. don’t even think i’ll be able to get to the third one. yikes.
